Very edifying indeed. Was good of you to touch down on critical doctrinal points: Accepting Jesus as your personal Lord & Saviour; so glad you brought this up as it is in-fact unscriptural. No apostle ever told anyone anywhere to perform the "sinners prayer" for salvation. You'd think something as serious as salvation so called ministers would have just one verse. Please before you grab your concordance always remember that no epistle in the New Covenant was written to the lost world, see Romans 1:7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Paul was detailing out the Romans salvation(past tense) and not how to get saved for the first time. Another good point well stated is: Infant baptism which was started by the Roman Catholic church is also a huge part of the Apostasy. Consider also the apostasy of water baptism: 325 A.D. Council of Niacea, Rome. The baptism formula was changed to: In the titles Father, Son and Holy Ghost whereas the Apostles always baptized: In the name of Jesus Christ.
